YOUNG actress Jhassy Busran fulfills her dream of portraying a character with an intellectual disorde in the Utmost Creatives family drama movie, “Unspoken Letters.” Jhassy plays the role of Felipa in “Unspoken Letters,” a seventeen-year-old girl who functions at the level of a seven-year-old child who looks up to her older siblings and dreams of following in their footsteps. Felipa is the youngest in a family faced with the challenges of dealing with neuro-diverse individuals, an ailing father, and the uncovering of hidden truths about their family’s past Nitong nakaraang Sunday, November 12, Utmost Creatives held an exclusive media conference for Jhassy held at The B Hotel in Quezon City It was hosted by radio and TV personality Mr. Fu with special guest Dr. Ernest Francis Nora MD, a certified clinical psychologist who handled questions related to Jhassy’s role as Felipa.

When asked how she prepared for her role as Felipa, Jhassy said she did it mentally and by doing lots of research online. “Unspoken Letters” is Jhassy’s third film. She has appeared in “Genius Teens- Chapter 1 and 2, “Caught In The Act” and “Home I Found In You.” Jhassy won the Jury Award Best of the Best Performance by an actress in the Manhattan Film Festival New York 2021 for the award-winning short film “Pugon”. She was also the Best Child Actress at the Gully International Film Festival 2021 in India: Best Child Actress at the Ashoka international Film Festival 2021, and the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Movie at the World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA) She was also nominated as New Actress for Movie at the 38 PMPC Star Awards for Movies. She was also recently awarded at the America Excellence Awards Hollywood 2023 as a Multi-Awarded New Female Movie Actress.
Awarded as one of The Outstanding Women in the Philippines 2022, The Gintong Kabataan Awards 2022, and the 6th Philippine Empowered Men and Women 2023. She also appeared in the Facebook drama-series “Roommate” playing the lead role She will be part again of the upcoming 12 Episode TV Series “Genius Teens – Season One” in IBC13 and “Tropa Peeps” from the National Council of Children’s TV of the Department of Education. On television Jhassy has also appeared in GMA 7 shows “Bubble Gang” and “Imbestigador While acting is her passion, Jhassy is also highly skilled, talented, and versatile not only in academics but also in sports and other extracurricular activities.
She graduated with High Honors (Grade 10) from the Mission Christian School and dreams of becoming a lawyer someday. She plays volleyball and is also a varsity player of their table Tennis team. She is also the Director of their school’s musical play. She can also slay the runway and has won the title of Bb. Kalikasan twice, as well as the Ms. Intramurals title in 2019. She was also awarded as the New Female Recording Artist of the Year for her song “Huwag Muna Ngayon at the 4th Laguna Excellence Awards.
