Some memories strike a chord in our hearts but what happens when the mind fails to remember?
Does the heart have a way of clinging to the past even when the mind tells it to let go. This is the premise of the
unforgettable romance-drama ” A Special Memory” brought to life by Viva Films from blockbuster director Jerry Lopez Sineneng, penned by National Artist Ricky Lee, starring Bela Padilla and Carlo Aquino.
A Special Memory’ reimagines this timeless story, offering Filipino audiences a heartfelt tale of love, loss, and the memories worth fighting for.
Bela Padilla stars as Sandra, a fashion designer whose impulsive nature masks the heartbreak of a past relationship. As she seeks to rebuild her life, destiny brings her Dindo, played by Carlo Aquino, a construction foreman in her family’s company.
Drawn together by fate, they fall in love and move in together. But then, Sandra is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and everything changes. Fearful of becoming a burden, she makes the heartbreaking choice, she leaves and decides to admit herself in a nursing home, hoping to spare Dindo the pain of watching her disappear piece by piece.
Though devastated, Dindo honors her wishes while remaining devoted from a distance. He visits her in the nursing home and begins reintroducing himself to Sandra, rebuilding their connection one gentle moment at a time.
Witness a love that dares to hold on, even as memories fade and moments slip away, keeping what is truly memorable close to the heart.
