Dumagundong ang chikahan at paandar sa pagbubukas ng Geluk Gentri Restaurant sa Panay Avenue, Quezon City! Walang dull moment as Mayor Joy Belmonte at Aiko Melendez herself ang nag-lead ng grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, proving na Quezon City is still the ultimate hot spot for business expansion at sosyal na gastronomic experiences.
After ang major success ng kanilang first branch sa Banawe Street, ito na ang level-up moment ng Geluk Gentri, na now ay mas accessible na for foodies and sosyalera barkadas sa QC. Present sa pasabog event ang mga bigating personalidad tulad nina CEO and Head Chef Paxon Alcanzare, Majority Floor Leader Councilor Doray Delarmente, Councilors Wency Lagumbay, Ivy Lagman, at Atty. Vincent Belmonte. Hindi rin nagpahuli ang Action Officer Atty. Zandy Zacate, P/B Beverly Gaw, at District 6 Representative Inno Dy of Isabela. And of course, dumating din ang showbiz icon na si Ogie Diaz kasama si Mama Loi Villarama, adding that extra sparkle sa event.
G na G si Mayor Joy in saying that QC is the ‘Most Business-Friendly City’
Sa kanyang speech, todo-emphasize ni Mayor Joy Belmonte kung paano patuloy na lumalakas ang negosyo sa lungsod, making Quezon City the ‘Most Business-Friendly City’ na patuloy na umaakit ng investors and entrepreneurs.
“Dito sa Quezon City, we make sure na transparent at conducive for growth ang environment para sa businesses. We are proud to welcome the expansion of Geluk Gentri Restaurant bilang patunay ng ating progresibong ekonomiya,” sey ni Mayor Belmonte, na obvious na very proud momma sa booming QC business scene.
Aiko Melendez, from showbiz to restaurateur realness. All eyes kay Aiko Melendez, na hindi lang kilala bilang award-winning actress at public servant, kundi certified businesswoman din! No surprise na bet niyang maki-join sa restaurant world dahil may experience na siya sa pagnenegosyo noon.
“Actually, we used to have a restaurant in Makati. And it lasted for about seven years. Now, we want to bring it to Quezon City naman. We waited and I feel now is the right time, and with good people around, it’s the same team, so now I think this is the right time,” ani Aiko.
Ayon pa sa kanya, hindi hadlang ang pagiging celebrity sa pagnenegosyo. In fact, mas advantage pa nga dahil may hatak sila sa tao. Pero at the end of the day, effort at sipag pa rin ang puhunan.
“We’re all hardworking also. And I’d like to think that whatever we’ve invested here, the money, the time, the effort are all part of our hard work also,” dagdag niya.
At kung may super edge man sila, ito ay ang kanilang strong friendships at family-like bond bilang business partners.
“Ang edge lang namin would be we’re like a family at ‘yung puhunan namin ay ‘yung popularity namin to promote the business. But I think the main thing in all businesses, is you work hard for everything you have,” sey pa ni Aiko, na talaga namang inspirational queen.
